These are the current known issues for Kiwi for Gmail and Kiwi for G Suite.
Extension authentication issues
We are aware that some extensions have issues with authentication and having it stick through accounts or sessions. It does not affect all extensions or all users.
Grammarly is the most prone to this issue, where authentication can corrupt and requires re-authentication.
Workaround:
For Grammarly, we suggest the following work-around that can alleviate the issue for most users.
- Disable Grammarly in the Plugins and Extensions tab in Settings / Preferences
- Restart Kiwi for Gmail / Kiwi for G Suite
- Re-enable Grammarly
- In the main Kiwi for Gmail / Kiwi for G Suite interface, click on the Puzzle icon in the titlebar
- Click on the Grammarly Icon
- Log in as normal
We are working on a solution to this issue, and hopefully should have it ready as quickly as possible.
Calendar notifications
Some users have reported that calendar notifications are not working. We have been able to confirm this happening in some situations, but it is not reproducible in all cases.
We continue to investigate the issue and will post a fix as soon as it is available.
Printing PDFs
We are aware of issues when trying to preview and print PDF's. This is due to a 3rd party module used to view and render PDFs that we discovered is now not fully compatible with our architecture. We are working on a solution which we will deploy as soon as we are able to.
