Google will periodically request that you re-authenticate in order to keep your account secure. This is not tied only to time, but other factors as well that are not exposed by Google.
We follow the guidelines set by Google in order to authenticate properly and keep your accounts secure.
Google has been working on more and more features for security and will undoubtedly continue to do so in the future.
Unfortunately we can not affect when Google requires you to authenticate again.
